Luca's Wood Fire Pizza & Restaurant: Authentic Wood-Fired Pizzas & Italian Classics in Columbia, SC

The food was absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend! The lasagna was huge and I could only eat a small corner of it and we had plenty of leftovers. Superior service and they even box your leftovers for you. We definitely plan on going back and trying different things.

It was our first time at the establishment & The greater was pleasant and so was the server. The food was good to me but my partner wasn't a fan of the chicken marsala. We didn't get to fully enjoy the food because it was warm and not hot. This was disappointing since they shared how everything is cooked fresh. The portion is size is definitely worth the money. We may return in the future.

Fresh ingredients included are the marinara, and sauce for the salmon. You can really taste the wood fired cooking/grilling. The spaghetti was definitely scratch made. It is on our favorite list now! Daniel was our server and took very good care of us. All the staff were pleasant and cordial.

Our server Daniel was amazing! His service was incredibly fast, attentive, and professional the entire time. He was also very personable, easy to talk to and made us feel genuinely welcome. Daniel made sure we had everything we needed without ever having to ask twice. His recommendations were spot on, especially the Bomba, which was absolutely delicious! Overall, the service was over the top and made our dining experience even better. Highly recommend asking for Daniel when you visit!

First time in and it won’t be our last! Everything was delicious. It was busy but service was timed well. We had an arugula salad that was really nice. Complimentary garlic bread is fluffy, warm and not overly seasoned. We shared the Bolognese gnocchi and a pizza. The Bolognese was creamy and gnocchi soft and pillowy. BEST thin crust pizza in the Midlands!!! We’ve tried a lot! Very fair prices, generous portions and incredible flavors.

First time visit last Saturday afternoon. It was pretty crowded and I apparently there was a wedding party on the outside patio. I had a cup of pasta fagioli to start. It was really good. The only other time I've had that soup was at olive garden, and it had ground beef. I think I prefer that, but this was still really flavorful. For my entree I had zuppa di luca. Sort of like a cioppino, it had a lobster tail, shrimp, claws, mussels and calamari in a red sauce on linguini. It needed a LOT more sauce, but overall it was a really good dish. My wife got the chicken parm and it was huge portions. We both went there thinking pizza, but the menu is so dang big, we got sidetracked. We will definitely be back, and I think this may turn into one of our local go to spots.

We just moved from upstate NY where Italian food was plentiful and most of it really good, and now in Columbia SC we WERE struggling to find good pizza and Italian, look no more! It is absolutely here at Luca’s!!!!! From the amazing customer service, as I went here just to try the pizza but Maria the hostess helped me choose my all time favorite…..lasagna, and boy was she right!!!! Beef was seasoned perfectly and the sauce was literally the best I have ever had in SC!!!! My wife found her favorite chicken melanese as we have not found that anywhere while down here. Highly recommend this place for the AMAZING service and AUTHENTIC food!
